Who are we?

OUR MISSION

Teaching the Saints and reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ.

BELIEFS

  1. The sixty-six books of the Bible are the complete, inerrant revelation of God to man and our only rule for faith and practice.
  2. There is only one true God, who is Spirit, triune in nature, personal, sovereign, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, infinite, holy, loving, merciful, longsuffering, almighty, unchanging, and in perfect unity as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. The eternal Son of God, Jesus Christ, is the revealed Word of God. Being fully God and fully man, He was born of the Virgin Mary, tempted in all points as we are, yet lived a sinless life and willingly laid down this life as a sacrifice for our sins. He arose from the dead in His glorified body on the third day, triumphant over sin and death, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. One day, He will return to rapture the Church to be forever with Him.
  4. The Holy Spirit indwells man at salvation and convicts him of sin, guides him in all truth, sanctifies, comforts, instructs, illuminates, equips, and gives spiritual gifts to each believer as He sovereignly chooses.
  5. Humans were created innocent on the 6th day of a literal week and were to reflect the image of God. Upon willful disobedience to God, man became corrupted by sin and alienated from God. This corruption was passed to all mankind through Adam's seed. Man, by nature and choice, is now totally depraved from the womb, at enmity with God, and in need of a Savior.
  6. The devil is a real, literal, created being who fell from heaven when he sought to exalt himself above God. He is the father of lies, the accuser of the brethren, and the serpent of the Garden. He is destined to eternal punishment in the lake of fire.
  7. Since man is unable to save himself, salvation is offered to all as a work of God's grace through the substitutionary atonement of the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, that man can be redeemed.
  8. When a person places faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that person becomes part of the Church, which is the Bride of Christ. All Christians are called to be joined in fellowship to a local, visible church, with Christ Jesus as the Head.
  9. All mankind will be bodily resurrected to stand before Christ in judgment. There is a literal, eternal heaven to be gained for those whose lives have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. There is a literal, eternal hell reserved for all those who reject the sacrifice of Jesus.
